On Friday, December 21, 2018, the Winter Solstice, and the Caner Full Moon, Geraldand I sat in an elevated restaurant in Mexico. The full moon stared at me as it was rising, and the sun directly across from the moon, was warming my back, as it was setting. Experience the Full Moon like this on the Solstice gave me the feeling that we were in the center of significant unfolding events that still has to reveal its magic in full during the days ahead. It was during this week that we also had an opportunity to lay on the beach to look at the stars at night. The obvious star that spoke loudly to me every night with its bright voice, was Alderbaran; the Bulls fiery eye in the constellation Taurus. My soul heard the prophecy to focus fiercely on the positive this coming year, and not be distracted by any seemingly innocent agendas of anyone with false news or dubious intentions. “Bulls-eye Jayni, bulls-eye”, it kept repeating every night! Stay on the right track – do not lose your way.
I found the following information from the website: http://interplanaterygateways.blogspot.com/2014/06/.
As the Eye of the Bull, Aldebaran is called the Eye of Revelation. Astronomers and cosmologists refer it to as the Eastern Royal Star, one of the four Royal Stars considered the sentinels watching over other stars. It is also known as the Buddha’s star, the Star of Illumination, and God’s Eye. There is a symbolic relation between Aldebaran, the “eye” in the head of the Bull; the third eye, or the light in the head, and the diamond soul. The consciousness of the Buddha has been called the ‘diamond-eye’. Aldebaran, the star of illumination, is directly across the zodiac from Antares the star of anger, pride and revenge. Aldebaran is located at 10 degrees of the sign Gemini, with Antares at 9 degrees of the sign Sagittarius, directly opposite each other.Aldebaran is said to be a portal to the mysteries of the mind and when balanced with the fixed star Antares, a portal to the mysteries of the heart, this creates a powerful stargate axis that is illuminated bi-annually when the Sun passes by Aldebaran at the first of June and then Antares about six months later. In stellar myth, Aldebaran is the ‘Vision Holder’ for the star-seed mission on Earth; defining what emissaries of Light can best accomplish to serve humanity through evolutionary transition. In down to Earth terms, Aldebaran holds the vision for global spiritual or collective leaders and world servers, inspiring the administrative planning of world affairs, specifically for physical logistics and a global infrastructure designed to support humanity through evolutionary unfoldment and global change. Personal planetary alignments with the Aldebaran / Antares axis can be expressed practically in the political and global arena where it serves humanity. Visions regarding alternative living centers, educational centers, emergency preparedness programmers, etc., are parts of the inspiration that comes from this star’s emanations. Aldebaran can indicate involvement with physical places and projects supportive of alternative modalities of living. It inspires business that supports family. Aldebaran inspires us to take the physical action required to manifest our visions.
Life is filled with revelation. The entire evolutionary process is essentially nothing but a growing revelation. The concepts of Evolution and Revelation go together. As we evolve, we perceive more than we ever knew was possible or perceptible, yet we only perceive what has always been there in our ignorance. The Way of Revelation is through the discovery and discarding of our own limitations.
10 Degrees Gemini falls on the exact midpoint between my Venus and Moon at 7- and 12-Degrees Gemini respectively.
It is said that if the Moon is conjunct Aldebaran, it favors business honor and domestic, public and religious matters but also a danger of a violent death. Venus conjunct Aldebaran brings honor through literature music and art, creative abilities and great artistic achievement to create beautiful harmonious and sumptuous environments. Don’t buy into everything you read; it may be related to a specific time and place and not apply to you necessarily. I like to be aware of what has been said, the generalized ideas, but talk to the Universe myself and allow the meaning to unfold inside my soul-spirit consciousness and experiences throughout time. Stay in conversation with the Universe yourself.
I like the sigil of the Royal Star Aldebaran; a cross with loops at each end. To me it symbolized the 4; Four directions and elements in Life. Contemplating how the 4 with all its symbolisms manifest and play a role in my life right now is a good idea too. How do I balance my life with all its parts and how do I take care of myself?
Getting back to the Full Cancer Moon on or close to the Winter Solstice, I want to share the chart for that moment. You can see how the sun is setting and the Moon has already risen.
You can also see in the chart-wheel of that moment that Aldebaran was exactly opposite Jupiter and Mercury (conjunct). Jupiter is the planet of philosophy, expansion, travel, teaching, indulgence, and so on. Mercury is the planet of communication, playfulness and creativity. The Jupiter and Mercury was also then exactly opposite the midpoint of my personal Moon -Venus conjunction. That same evening, I was treated with a bottle of Champaign and a prepared bubble bath filled with red rose petals, in our hotel room as a gesture of appreciation from the staff, that come completely out of the blue and unexpectedly! What an amazing symbolic expression of Jupiter the full Moon and Aldebaran in the heavens! A lot is going on in the sky that tells us about what we are needing to be aware of inside our inner hearts and souls.
The actual Cancer full Moon was on the 22 of December 2018. We were traveling back from Mexico to Ontario that morning and would have missed experiencing the magic of the event anyway, because the full Moon happened around 1 pm. as is shown in the next chart. To me, the synchronicity of life is exceptionally magical and allowed the nuances of the actual perceived experience with the sun and the moon, as well as the nighttime observations of the stars and planets, to speak of what I usually contemplate with my Astrological ephemeris and chart plotter.
Whenever you can, look up at the stars and planets in the sky and read the signs as you allow them to speak to your heart and consciousness in the days to follow, without making assumptions about the outcome. Let your soul-spirit tell you what you need to know about your inner world, that needs to become conscious, as you observe the outer world as a mirror to your soul.
Love and Blessings,
